My dear mother, as your
special day draws near,
I have some memories in my
heart I want to share with you,
You knew how much I loved
you and held our time so dear,
Everyday we shared so much
that was beautiful and new.
In the prime of your life
on earth, God called you home with Him,
He had a special place in
Heaven that only my mom could fill,
In my eyes you were
created as one most perfect gem,
And though 39 years have
passed, every day I miss you still.

I cried that day God took
you home, I felt so all alone,
How could I ever finish my
life without your loving care,
How hard it was to leave
the grave, and journey back to home,
My mom had left and gone
to Heaven, and I still had much to share.

As the days went by, the
angels came and ministered to my soul,
I knew you were there with
me, through my journey to this day,
When days are long and
hard for me, when the winds blow ever cold,
You are the sunshine that
comes to me and helps me on my way.

I love you mom, more every
day, and wait patiently for that season,
Where flowers will grow
all year round, and the sunshine is ever so bright,
Because Christ shed his
blood for me, His love for me the only reason,
We will be together one
glorious day in His everlasting light.

I honor you my precious
mom, on this your special day,
God has blessed me with
Howard, Lee, Charlotte and Tori Jade,
I keep you and your
precious face in my heart along my way,
And thank you for your
guidance in all life's decisions I have made.

I am at peace and know one
day we will meet on that beautiful shore
To sing His praise and
ever be with our precious Heavenly Father
I am His child and He
guides me, as you did long before
And all the trials of this
old world will no longer be a bother.
Written for my precious
mom, Peggy, who left for Heaven in 1969.
Thank you for making
me the person I am today.
I miss you and love
you always.
