SHE IS COMING!
I am so excited that it's only 2 days
away,
It seems like I was at her house only
yesterday.
We write each other every day and have our
cup of Joe,
But if the opportunity arises to visit, we
grab our bag and go.
We laugh and talk and share our heart
without any thought,
This kind of love and friendship just
cannot be bought.
I pray for traveling angels to watch over
her Saturday,
Only sunshine and blue skies be with her
on the way.
I'll have biscuits in the oven, gravy made
and jelly to spread,
We'll sit down as a family and thank God
for our daily bread.
So make sure you are rested and up, ready
for a fun-filled day,
Because come this Saturday, my best
friend Calo is on her way.
