When I held this little newborn and looked into her eyes,
A miracle from God was this precious
little prize.
I had waited for so long, knowing she
would fill my heart,
With love hereto unknown to me, God gave a
brand new start.
Everything around her glowed, I was
swelled with so much pride,
My overwhelming joy with her I would never
want to hide.
She turned her head and looked at me, at
last our eyes had met,
It was a heart stopping moment that I
never could forget.
What a wonderfully perfect baby girl I
cradled close that day,
Her new life and mine together, there
would be no more delay.
I told her of the love of God, and how He
blessed my life,
How He would always be with her through
this world filled with strife.
She could always call upon His name for
guidance by His grace,
All this I saw that day, when I looked
into her face.
She is forever Nana's girl, and what fun
we have today,
Thank you God for giving me my precious
Victoria Jade!
